Installation view of the Studio Artists exhibition in the glass-roofed atrium of The Briggait, with two large sofa paintings by Alan Brash on the right-hand wall.

A group exhibition featuring a selection of artists based at The Briggait Studios. Brash's larger paintings, among them Unforeseen Consequences, Revelation and Don't Dream It, Be It.., each over a metre and a half across, hold their own beneath the building's soaring glass-and-cast-iron atrium, a rare chance to see them at the scale they were made for. Also on show: Chrysalis, a recently finished addition to Reflections of a Queer Life, and the small painting Blush.

Built in 1873 as Glasgow's fish market and now home to WASPS Studios, The Briggait is a Category A-listed landmark on the Clyde, its galleried hall and glass roof restored as one of the city's most striking spaces for contemporary art.

Installation view: two large sofa paintings on a freestanding white wall, with Chrysalis, a boy reading, on the nearest panel.
Looking down into The Briggait's atrium from the gallery level, with the exhibition panels on the floor beneath the cast-iron and glass roof.
